Cape Girardeau, Mo. - Alfred Castillo, assistant trainer and associate head football trainer at the University of Missouri for the past five years, has been hired as head athletic trainer at Southeast Missouri State University.
"Alfred Castillo is a very qualified trainer with a wealth of great experience," said Don Kaverman, Director of Athletics at Southeast. "We hated to lose Rob Hunt, but Castillo will be able to step in and keep our sports medicine area operating at a high level."
Castillo replaces Hunt, who resigned to take a job as head football trainer at Oklahoma State University.
