CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008) - Cindy Gannon, interim Director of Athletics at Southeast Missouri State has announced that Brady Barke, a governance intern with the NCAA, has been hired as Assistant Director of Athletics for Compliance at Southeast. Barke, who began his duties at Southeast on Monday, has a law degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale where he worked in the compliance department from 2007-2008. Originally from St. Louis, Barke received his bachelor's degree from Webster University where he was an All-Conference basketball player. "I am very pleased to be able to add Barke to our staff at Southeast," Gannon said. "His background in compliance at SIU and his work at the NCAA will be a big asset for our program." Barke replaces Jayson Santos who recently resigned to accept a similiar position at Texas State. |
