Torry Rollins is in his third year as the Assistant Athletic Director for Business Affairs at Southeast Missouri State University. He came to Cape Girardeau after working as the Fiscal Officer for Cuyahoga County, the largest local government budget in the state of Ohio. His responsibilities included managing, adjusting and analyzing a $66 million budget consisting of 17 departments.
Rollins also served as the assistant men's basketball coach at Lakeland Community College in Kirtland, Ohio, from 2003-07. Included in his duties as assistant coach, was recruiting coordinator. Over his final two seasons the team posted a .766 winning percentage.
From 1995-98, Rollins was the Business Operations Manager for White's Information Systems, Inc., in Cleveland, Ohio, where he managed the daily operations for the computer-consulting firm.
Rollins graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting in 1992. He competed for the Edinboro basketball team as an undergraduate and later became a graduate assistant for the squad. In addition, he served as a color commentator for the men's and women's basketball teams. In 1994, he earned his Master of Arts in Communication Studies from his alma mater. In 2002, he received his Master of Business Administration in Management from Cleveland State University.
His family, consisting of his lovely wife Antoinette, son Devon and daughter Dominique, join him in Cape Girardeau.
In his spare time, Rollins enjoys coaching, playing and watching basketball.
