Redhawks football, men's and women's basketball, and baseball games are all broadcast live by locally owned and operated Mississippi River Radio. The flagship station for Redhawks Football and Men's Basketball is K103 FM, a 100,000-watt station in Cape Girardeau with a signal that covers portions of five states. Redhawks women's basketball and baseball can be heard live on ESPN 1220 AM.  

The Redhawks Radio Network for football and men's basketball includes four other radio stations, including a network station in St. Louis. Team 1380 AM, "The St. Louis Sports Insiders," broadcasts all Redhawks football and men's basketball games throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area. Other Redhawks Radio Network affiliates include KSIM 1400 AM, Sikeston; KWOC 930 AM, Poplar Bluff; and KMAL 1470 AM, Malden.

Redhawks football, men's and women's basketball, and baseball game broadcasts are all web streamed live and are available for free courtesy of Mississippi River Radio. Since the WebCast premiered in the fall of 2007, the free on-line video presentation has featured more than 100 regional events including local high school and college football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and gymnastic events, along with softball, parades, and local ceremonies. The WebCast added Redhawks athletics to its programming in the fall of 2008, and the schedule has included Redhawks football, women's soccer, women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, women's gymnastics, and baseball.

During 2008-09, every Redhawks football games, women's gymnastics meets, and men's and women's basketball doubleheaders were webcast courtesy of Meanwhile, select women's soccer, women's volleyball, and baseball games were also presented. The multi-camera WebCasts are presented live around the world at, and then archived on the web site for users to watch at their convenience. Both the live presentation and the archived version are available free of charge. The archived version is posted several hours after the end of game coverage.
