    Prospective Student-Athletes

If you are interested in being a student-athlete at Southeast Missouri State, this section includes information on applying to Southeast Missouri, athletic scholarships and financial aid, and how to send a coach your information.

    A Note for Transfers
Under NCAA rules, Southeast Missouri State University may not respond via e-mail or phone to four-year college transfer student-athletes before the student obtains a release from the first college. The release must be faxed to the Southeast Missouri State University Athletic Department at 573-651-2959. Four-year college transfer students must obtain an additional release to be immediately eligible for competition at Southeast Missouri State.

A Note for High School Prospective Student-Athletes
After Sept. 1, our coaches are able to respond to e-mails from high school seniors and juniors. Under NCAA rules, Southeast Missouri State may only mail responses to freshmen and sophomores. You may call any of our coaches, however, NCAA rules prohibit us from returning your call unless you are a senior in high school.
