Signage Opportunities

1. Houck Stadium Houck Stadium is rich in tradition as the facility has been the home of Southeast football for 75 years. Houck Stadium is currently in the middle of a five-phase improvement program, with the first phase being the installation of the new Field Turf playing surface.
Houck Stadium holds a capacity of 10,000, which has been surpassed several times since the 2000 football season. In addition to Redhawk football, Houck Stadium is the home for Cape Central High School football, Redhawk women's soccer, high school band competitions, camps and concerts.

I) Houck Stadium Scoreboard and Video Screen (proposed for 2009)
A new scoreboard and video screen has been proposed for Houck Stadium in 2009. The proposed scoreboard is part of a stadium renovation, featuring the construction of a new residence hall and game-day locker rooms for football and soccer at the West end of the stadium.
Opportunities with the proposed scoreboard and video screen include scoreboard signage, on-screen commercials, and numerous other on-screen sponsorships. I) Houck Stadium Signs Twenty-two (22) signs are positioned along the top of the north side bleachers in Houck Stadium. The signs are 4' x 8' and full color. The majority fan base at events in Houck Stadium consist of the following demographics:
80% married
Attend game with family
Average household income of over $60,000
Ages 25-54
1,400 students (ages 18-23)

II) 25-second play clock The 25-second play clock will expose your businesses name or logo hundreds of times to thousands of Southeast fans each game. The signs (2) are 2' x 3' and rest directly below the play clock.

2. Show Me Center Since opening its doors in the summer of 1987, the Show Me Center has served Southeast Missouri State University, the City of Cape Girardeau and the citizens of Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, and Western Kentucky by providing quality sporting events (Southeast Missouri State Athletics, high school basketball tournaments, volleyball matches and gymnastics meets), concerts, top-notch family entertainment, and a first-rate banquet, convention and meeting facility. |
| The Show Me Center is located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and is the home court for the Redhawks varsity men's and women's basketball teams of Southeast Missouri State University. Additionally, the Show Me Center is the entertainment, and meeting hub for the 250,000 residents of the tri-state region.
The Southeast Missouri State men's basketball team has had outstanding success in the opening of the Show Me Center in 1987. With a seating capacity of 7,000, the fans of Southeast have surpassed this mark several occasions. The largest crowd ever assembled for a Southeast Missouri State basketball game totaled 7,241 on February 12, 2000, as Southeast hosted the Murray State Racers.

I) Media Table The Show Me Center displays 11 Power Ad back lit media tables along press row. These full color signs are 96" x 30" and used at all Southeast Missouri State men's and women's basketball games, high school basketball tournaments, gymnastics meets and volleyball matches in the Show Me Center. Your sign will be seen by thousands of fans each year. Southeast has led the Ohio Valley Conference in attendance for nine of the past ten years with an average of over 5,400 fans per game.

II) Basket Support Place your name/logo on the basket support pads under each goal. Each pad is approximately 2.5' x 2.5'. Basket supports are used at every Southeast Missouri State and high school basketball game. The basket supports are located in a highly visible location allowing ALL fans to witness your company's name.

3. Houck Field House
An economic way to become involved with Southeast Athletics is through the signage opportunities in Houck Field House. Houck Field House is the site for a variety of events including Southeast Missouri State volleyball and gymnastics, volleyball camps and tournaments, intramural competition, and indoor youth soccer.
