CAPE GIRARDEAU - Sophomore Kris Woolf of Southeast Missouri State placed fourth in the 10,000-meters during the opening day of the Kansas Relays.

Woolf timed 38:55.61 during the Distance Carnival stage of the Relays. In the men's 10K, Brian Whitehead finished 13th in 32:55.75 while Gabe Lutes was 14th with a time of 32:59.02.

Jared Tanz placed eighth in the men's 800 with a time of 1:54.44 while Jen Burke was 10th in the women's 800 in 2:19.58.

Southeast's top women's 800 runner, Brooke Woodruff, will run in an elite invitational 800 on Saturday.
