Redhawks Completes Saluki Fast Start

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri State track athletes took home a number of top-five honors as they completed the Saluki Fast Start.

Brandon Colbert won the shot put at 53-0 feet and placed second in the weight throw. Colbert broke his own record by an inch with a toss of 59-11.75 feet in the weight throw.

John Berry finished second in the long jump with a leap of 24-10.50 feet, pole vaulter Audrey Harwood was third at 10-11.75 feet and Andy Glass finished fifth in the shot put at 49-08.50 feet.

Other performers in the meet included Josh Uchtman who was sixth in the weight throw (50-04 feet) and seventh in the shot put (46-03.25 feet). Cara Harbstreet finished seventh in the high jump at 5-1 feet and Brianna Egbuka finished 10th in the shot put (41-07 feet).
