5/15/08 - Four track athletes from Southeast Missouri State University will compete this weekend at the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta.
Long jumper John Berry, long and triple jumper Tyler Terry and javelin throwers Ben Stricklin and Samantha Espiricueta will compete. It will be a warmup for Berry, Stricklin and Espiricueta who have already qualified for the NCAA Regional while Terry will be attempting to qualify.
5/14/08 - Long time Southeast Missouri State University assistant track coach Eric Crumpecker has been selected to succeed Joey Haines as head men's and women's track & field coach.
Crumpecker, who has served as an assistant coach under Haines for the past 17 seasons, will assume the head coaching duties on August 1 when Haines retires. He was selected after a national search that produced four finalists who had campus interviews.
5/3/08 It took a win in the final event, the 4 X 400-meter relay, to give Southeast Missouri State the Ohio Valley Conference men's outdoor track and field championship.
