CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - The Southeast Missouri State men's and women's track and field teams will take part in the Iowa State Cyclone Classic, hosted by Iowa State University. The two-day event will feature more than 100 Division I teams including some of the nation's best athletes. Field events get underway this afternoon at 1:30 and running events will begin at 2 p.m. The meet will conclude on Saturday morning at noon.

The meet will give the Redhawks one last chance for fine tuning before the Ohio Valley Conference Championships on Feb. 23 -24 in Charleston, Ill. Both the women's and men's teams have had several top-10 and top-20 finishes at Indiana for the past two weekends and are looking forward to stepping up their performances.

Southeast will return home next week to host their annual Redhawks Invitational on February 16, at the Student Recreational Center.
