Fayetteville, Ark. - Senior Miles Smith of Southeast Missouri State begins his quest for the NCAA Indoor 400-meter national title with prelims on Friday. All the events can be seen free of charge on the web at Ladybacks.com.

Smith will run in the third of four heats scheduled for 5:40 p.m. at the University of Arkansas Tyson Track. He has the fastest qualifying time in the third heat at 46.13.

The top eight faastest times in the preliminaries will advance to Saturday's finals scheduled for 6:55 p.m. Saturday's finals will also be webcast on Ladybacks.com. The four fastest times will be in the second section of the finals.
