CAPE GIRARDEAU - The Southeast Missouri State University women's sprint medley relay finished fourth in the prestigious Drake Relays in Des Moines, Ia.

Running in front of the 38th consecutive sell out crowd of over 18,000 at Drake Stadium, the relay team of Rose Fulton, LaQuita Andrews, Hannah Stuckenschneider and Brooke Woodruff timed 3:55.43.

Shelton Scott placed seventh in a talent laden triple jump field with a jump of 50-4 ½. Brandon Myer was 12th in the discus with a throw of 165-11 and 16th in the shot put with a throw of 52-8 ¼.

Sophomore Heather Jenkin placed ninth in the women's discus with a throw of 149-2 and was 15th in the shot put at 44-3 ½. Courtney Haman was eighth in the javelin at 142-11 while Laura VanHoevelaak placed 22nd in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 62.34.
