Southeast Men's Cross Country Team Finishes Pre-NCAA Invitational

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - The Southeast men's cross country team competed today at the Pre-NCAA Invitational hosted by Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Ind. The men scored 185 points to place 8th in the Open race. The Redhawks entered the meet ranked 10th in the Midwest Region.

Kevin McNab was the top runner for the Southeast men. He ran to a fourth place finish with a time of 25:01. Dustin Davis took 31st place with a time of 25:45, while teammate Brandon Karcher placed 37th with a time of 25:52. Running side by side were Chris Herren (56th - 26:26) and Jamie Lee (57th - 26:30). Also competing for the men were Danny Stults (69th - 26:54) and Paul Stemmerman (72nd - 27:01).

The Redhawks have a week off before returning to competition at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships, hosted by Austin Peay University, in Clarksville, Tennessee on October 28.
