Prep: Lennington was named to the All-Region team at Brentwood Academy in Franklin, Tenn. He hit .318 with eight home runs and 32 runs batted in. He also added 11 doubles and three triples. As a junior, he was named to the All-County team after hitting .370 with three home runs. He drove in 32 runs that year. As a sophomore he hit .344 with 16 RBI's, one home run, six doubles, and one triple. Lennington excelled as a team member of three Tennessee State Championships, while also holding a 3.6 GPA. He is the son of Wayne and Denise Lennington
