Cape Girardeau, Mo. (April 6, 2003) - Today's scheduled game between the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles and Southeast Missouri State Indians has been cancelled due to heavy rain moving through the area. No make up game will be played.

The game was slated to begin at 1 p.m., but was pushed to 2 p.m. after looking at the weather situation.

The tarp was removed, and the field was lined, but just as the umpires arrived, the rains came in and soon later the coaches cancelled the game.

Southeast will now travel to Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday for a doubleheader with Lipscomb University that is slated to start at 1 p.m. They will then play host to Southern Illinois on Wednesday at 3 p.m. and then travel to Eastern Kentucky next weekend to continue OVC play.
