Baseball Cuts SMS Series To One Game Southeast will now play on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
April 23, 2001 Cape Girardeau, Mo. - The two-game Southeast Missouri State Baseball series at Southwest Missouri State has been trimmed to a nine-inning 5 p.m. affair on Tuesday, April 24. The two-game series was cut to one game due to over-scheduling by SMS. The game will be rescheduled as part of a three-game series to be played in Cape Girardeau next season. Southeast will use Tuesday's game against the Bears as a warm-up for a return to conference play this week at Austin Peay. The Indians are currently in second place in the Ohio Valley Conference race. Southeast has three conference series remaining, including the Gov's series. - |
