Tonight's Baseball Game with Evansville Rescheduled for 7:00 p.m.

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (May 4, 2005) - The Redhawks baseball program announced that today's non-conference game against Evansville has been changed to 7:00 p.m. at Capaha Field. The pitching match-up for today's game has Casey Johnson of Southeast Missouri facing Cal Stanke of Evansville. The Redhawks mid-week starter Casey Johnson (1-4) is making his seventh start of the season against the Purple Aces. In 10 appearances on the season Johnson has an ERA of 6.75 with 20 strikeouts in 32 innings pitched. On March 7th Johnson went six innings allowing two runs on seven hits while striking out six to get the win over South Dakota State. For the Purple Aces Cal Stanke (0-0) will make his second start of the year. In seven appearances this season Stanke has an ERA of 10.29 with 12 strikeouts in 14 innings pitched. Following today's game with Evansville the Redhawks will be home for a three-game series against conference rival Morehead State. The Redhawks will play a doubleheader on Saturday with the series finale on Sunday the first pitch is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on both days.
