CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - (Monday, October 8, 2007) The rosters and schedule have been set for the Southeast Missouri State baseball team as it prepares for the annual Steak and Beans Fall World Series. The 36-player Fall roster was divided up among two teams that will be coached by assistants Chris Cafalone and J.C. Field. The seven game series will begin Thursday, October 11 at 3 p.m. at Capaha Field. The highlight of the series will be a night game on October 19 at 6 p.m. as part of Homecoming Weekend.

Traditionally as part of the annual fall world series, the winning team will be treated to a steak dinner, while the losing team eats a dinner of beans. The series concludes on October 26 as part of the final day of Fall practice. All games are free and open to the public.

The Redhawks will open their 2008 season February 22 on the road at Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
