Ron Hines is in his 28th year as the Sports Information Director at Southeast. He serves as the primary media contact for the football, men's basketball and track and field teams.

A 1965 journalism graduate of the University of Missouri, Hines is a veteran print and broadcast journalist with experience in daily and weekly newspaper operations as well as radio and television experience.

Hines is a member of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) and has written and edited 21 award-winning publications, including four judged "Best in the Nation".

Hines and his wife, Mary, who works on the statistical crew at all home events and designs media guides, have three children and seven grandchildren.
