MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) - Tennessee-Martin's Joey Walker posted a career-high 24 points Thursday night as the Skyhawks stopped Southeast Missouri State 89-73.

Walker hit 10 of his 12 shots from the field to lead five Martin players in double figures.

Tennessee-Martin (11-5, 3-1 Ohio Valley Conference) built a 22-12 lead on a basket by Jeremy Sargent with 11:41 left in the first half and maintained at least a 10-point edge the rest of the way.

Derrick Winans led Southeast Missouri (3-13, 1-4) with 17 points and Kenny Johnson added 16.

Sargent, who also blocked five SEMO shots, followed Walker for Tennessee-Martin with 14 points. Brian Foster and Jair Peralta scored 12 points each and Jermi Hampton added 11.
