MACOMB, Ill. (AP) - Luis Rivas and Shawn Mason each scored 18 points as Western Illinois beat Southeast Missouri State 84-75 on Tuesday night.

Rivas shot 8-of-10 for Western Illinois (6-9), while Mason made 8-of-11 and had four assists. J.D. Summers led the team in rebounds with six.

Southeast Missouri (7-10) was ahead 42-35 at the half but Western Illinois came out shooting in the second half and outscored Southeast Missouri 49 to 33. Western Illinois went from 46 percent shooting in the first half to 73 percent in the second, while Southeast Missouri slid from 62 percent shooting in the first half to 44 percent in the second. Western Illinois outrebounded their opponent 37 to 29.

Derek Winans scored 33 points for Southeast Missouri.
