CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) - Chez Marks scored 33 points and Ricky Minard added 30 as Morehead State beat Southeast Missouri State 79-69 Thursday night.

Morehead State (15-6,9-1 OVC) hit six 3-point shots in the first half to take a 37-33 halftime lead in spite of Southeast Missouri's 52 percent shooting from the field.

Derek Winans scored 21 points and Brett Hale added 20 for the Indians (9-13, 4-6).

Kevin Roberts had 13 assists for Southeast Missouri, and Brandon Griffin had 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Minard had a team-high nine rebounds and four assists for the Eagles, and Marks was 6-of-9 on 3-point shots.
