RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) - Drew DeMond scored 19 points to lead Southeast Missouri to an 81-74 win over Eastern Kentucky on Saturday night.

Both teams fought through 15 lead changes and five ties, before Southeast (4-19, 2-10 Ohio Valley Conference) outscored the Colonels 11-4 in the final 2:27 to secure the victory.

Eastern (7-16, 3-9) led by as many as six in the first half.

Southeast connected on seven 3-pointers and shot 57.4 (31 of 54) percent from the field, while holding the Colonels to just 41.2 percent (28 of 68).

Tim Scheer scored 17 points, including 13 in the second half, for Southeast, while Brett Hale followed with 15. Derek Winans had 12 rebounds.

Chris Carswell scored 21 points, Michael Haney had 19 points and 12 rebounds, and Clinton Sims added 11 points for Eastern.
