Eastern Kentucky Beats Redhawks 66-61

Cape Girardeau, Mo. - Freshman Adam Leonard scored a career-high 22 points to lead Eastern Kentucky to a come from behind with win over Southeast Missouri State. The win keeps the Colonels in the hunt for a home first round game in the OVC post-season tournament.

The Colonels, 15-9 overall and 10-6 in the OVC, trailed 32-27 at the half, but came out strong in the second half. The Colonels kept the Redhawks off balance with the use of different zone defenses.

Two other Colonels scored in double figures, Mike Rose tallied 12 points and Michale Brock had13 points and 10 rebounds.

Southeast was led by Brandon Foust with Johnny Hill scoring 11 points and David Johnson 10.

Southeast now goes on the road to play at Eastern Illinois on Tuesday, 6 p.m. The game will be televised live by ESPNU.
