CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (Saturday, February 12, 2005) - Four players scored in double figures to lead Southeast Missouri State to its seventh straight win, 85-68 over Tennessee State. The win moves Southeast into a second place tie in the Ohio Valley Conference with a league mark of 8-4. The Redhawks are 13-10 overall.

Reggie Golson, playing while battling the flu, had 18 points and seven rebounds to lead Southeast. Terrick Willoughby, Derek Winans and Dainmon Gonner each had 16.

The Redhawks led 45-26 at the half, but the Tigers pulled within eight at 63-55 with 5:45 remaining, but could never get closer. Bruce Price led TSU, 11-14 and 6-6 in the OVC, with 18 points while Rod Flowers had 16, Eric King 15 and Roshaun Bowens 10.

The seven game win streak is the longest for Southeast at the Division I level and moves Southeast into a second place tie with Murray State and Tennessee Tech, just one game back of league leading Samford.

Southeast plays at Eastern Kentucky on Thursday and at Morehead State on Saturday before closing the regular season with home games against Murray State on Feb. 24 and Tennessee-Martin on Feb. 26.
