Louisiana Tech Defeats Redhawks 72-56

Cape Girardeau, Mo. - Chad Mckenzie led three Louisiana Tech players in double figures as the Bulldogs rolled over Southeast Missouri 72-56 in an O'Reilly ESPNU BracketBuster game.

Mckenzie had 17 points while Trey McDowell had 16 and Harry Disy 12 for the Bulldogs whhoshot 48% from the field and 33% from three. Meanwhile the Bulldog defense held the Redhawks to just 31% from the field, and 16% from three.

Southeast Missouri, 10-18, was led by Dionte Perry who came off the bench to score 11 points. The Redhawks fell behind early and battled to just keep the game relatively close.

Louisiana Tech is now 9-17 overall. Southeast will travel to Ruston, La., to meet the Bulldogs in a return game next season.

The Redhawks will play Thursday at Samford and on Saturday they will close the regular season at Jacksonville State.
