That gave EMU an advantage of 24-6 over the final four minutes of the first half and the first four minutes of the second half. Once taking the lead, the Eagles never trailed again behind the free throw shooting of Maclock and Axon. Jaycen Herring paced Southeast, 12-17, with 19 points while Kenard Moore added 18 on 6-12 from three. Freshman Will Bogan had 14 points and five rebounds in just 19 minutes played.
