Indians Fall To Tennessee Tech, 89-73

COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Damien Kinloch scored 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds Thursday as Tennessee Tech beat Southeast Missouri 89-73.

Kinloch became Tennessee Tech's (17-11, 10-5 Ohio Valley Conference) first player to reach 1,000 points within two seasons.

Tennessee Tech stretched its lead to 16 points a number of times in the last 6:30 to ease to the victory.

Southeast Missouri (10-18, 4-11) pulled within 43-36 in the first minute of the second half on a tip-in by Demarcus Hence, but the Golden Eagles never lost the lead and led 43-32 at halftime.

Cameron Crisp scored 16 points for Tennessee Tech, Damien Perkins scored 15 and Brent Jolly 12.

Derek Winans scored 18 points for the Otahkians. Brett Hale added 16, Hence and Brandon Griffin each had 11 and Demetrius King had 10.
