CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Six Southeast players scored in double figures en route to a 33-point victory over MacMurray College Saturday night at the Show Me Center. Jajuan Maxwell and Israel Kirk registered double-doubles in the rout.

The Redhawks got out to a 15-point halftime lead and never looked back. Kenard Moore and Jaycen Herring both scored 22 points to lead the Southeast scoring. Moore made five shots from behind the 3-point arc.

Maxwell finished with 16 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. Seven of his rebounds were on the offensive end. Kirk scored 13 points and pulled down 11 boards, including eight on offense.

Sean Knox of MacMurray led all scorers with 25 points. Frederick Miller scored 10 points off the bench for the Highlanders.

Johnny Hill and LaMont Russell both scored in double-digits while point guard Bijon Jones scored eight points and dished out six assists.

Southeast begins their regular season Friday at New Mexico. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. central time. Two days later, they will travel to Kansas State for a 2 p.m. start. The home opener is slated for Nov. 21 against Culver-Stockton at 5:30 p.m.
