KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Amory Sanders scored a career-high 25 points to lead Southeast Missouri State to a 78-53 victory over Robert Morris in a consolation game Saturday at the Energia Systems Thanksgiving Tournament.

Sanders had three consecutive 3-pointers in a 90-second span in the second half to give the Indians a 69-48 lead with 4:40 left. The reserve senior guard hit 7-of-10 from 3-point range.

Emmanuel McCuthison added 14 points for Southeast Missouri (2-1).

The Indians jumped to a 12-3 lead in the first five minutes on 3-pointers from Tim Scheer and McCuthison and never trailed.

Robert Shirley's 12 points led the Colonials (0-2). Wesley Fluellen had eight points in the first half, but failed to score in the second.

Southeast Missouri held Robert Morris to season lows with 53 points, 15 field goals, 34.9 percent shooting from the field and 27 rebounds.

The Colonials trailed 38-28 at the half.

Robert Morris has lost its first four games each season since 1977.
