KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - Terry Rogers' only point was the game-winning free throw with seven seconds left as Southeast Missouri State beat Cleveland State 72-71 Sunday for fifth place in the Energia Systems Thanksgiving Tournament.

Rogers had grabbed a defensive rebound and was fouled to set up the winning free throw.

Cleveland State's Jermaine Robinson's 16-foot jumper with two seconds left was off the mark.

Led by Emmanuel McCuthison's 18 points, Southeast Missouri (4-1) had a 19-point lead with 7:53 left. The lead evaporated, and Cleveland State's Anthony Jackson's layup with nine seconds left tied the game at 71. But Jackson missed the foul shot.

Theo Dixon led Cleveland State (3-2) with 16 points, though he fouled out with 3:03 left and Southeast Missouri up by six points.

Antonio Short and Michael Stokes each added 15 points for Southeast Missouri.

Andre Williams had 12 points for Cleveland State, and Jamaal Harris added 11.
