Evansville Beats Redhawks 65-45

Evansville, Ind. - Evansville outscored Southeast Missouri 32-4 midway in the game and that scoring run paved the way to a 65-45 win. Southeast led 20-13 with 8:59 remaining in the first half, but with 12:33 to go in the game, the Aces were up 45-24.

The Aces, 3-2, were led by Art Stalbergs with 16 points including 7-8 from the field and 2-3 from three. Kyle Anslinger added 13 points and Matt Webster 11.

The Redhawks, 2-4, were led by freshman JaJuan Maxwell who had 11 points on 4-5 shooting from the field, 2-2 from three and 1-2 from the line. Brandon Foust added nine points and a game-high nine rebounds.

Southeast returns to the Show Me Center for a two game home stand beginning with a game against IPFW on Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. The Redhawks open Ohio Valley Conference play by hosting Tennessee-Martin on Saturday, 7:30 p.m.
