Western Kentucky Defeats Southeast

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky forced 29 Southeast Missouri turnovers and turned them into 40 points on the way to a 74-53 win at Diddle Arena.

Western Kentucky, 4-0, shot just 36% from the field and outrebounded Southeast by just seven but their full court press created the turnovers and produced the victory.

Anthony Winchester and Courtney Lee led the Hilltoppers with 19 points each.

Southeast, 1-3, was led by Dainmon Gonner with 12 points and eight rebounds while Reggie Golson and Terrick Willoughby each added 11. Waylon Francis had a career high 10 points and nine rebounds.

Southeast begins a four-game homestand at the Show Me Center when it hosts South Dakota State on Saturday, 7:30 p.m.
