Tennessee Tech Beats Redhawks 91-76

Cookeville, Tenn. - Belton Rivers scored a career-high 33 points to lead Tennessee Tech to a 91-76 Ohio Valley Conference win over Southeast Missouri State.

The Redhawks, 3-7 overall and 1-2 in the OVC, held a 42-39 halftime lead but could not stop Rivers and Anthony Fisher in the second half as the Golden Eagles started the half on a 9-0 run. Fisher had 20 points including 5-7 from three.

Southeast was led by David Johnson with 15 points while Marcus Rhodes added 11 and Dionte Perry 10.

Tennessee Tech is now 4-4 overall and 1-2 in the OVC. The Redhawks will next be in action on Sunday, Dec. 17, hosting Jacksonville State in a 4:30 p.m. game.
