Purdue Beats Redhawks 102-65

West Lafayette, Ind. - Purdue improved to 11-3 on the season with a 102-65 win over Southeast Missouri State. The Boilermakers had six players in double figures led by David Teague's 21 points.

Other Purdue players in double figures included Chris Lutz with 15, Carl Landry with 13, Marcus Green 22 and Gordon Watt 10.

Southeast battled the Big 10 Conference Boilers in the early going, but Purdue outscored the Redhawks 26-7 over the final 8:25 of the first half to take a commanding 57-29 halftime advantage.

The Redhawks, 3-11, were led by freshman JaJuan Maxwell who had 15 points including 7-7 from the free throw line. David Johnson and Brandon Foust each had 11 points.

The Redhawks stay on the road for an Ohio Valley Conference game at Eastern Kentucky on Tuesday night. Southeast is 1-4 in the OVC while Eastern Kentucky, a 78-65 loser at Kentucky on Saturday, is 3-1 in league play and 8-4 overall.
