Indians Fall At DePaul, 57-50

ROSEMONT, Ill. (AP) - Delonte Holland scored 21 points and Drake Diener added 15 to lead DePaul to a 57-50 victory over Southeast Missouri State Wednesday.

Trailing 46-48 with 6:09 left, DePaul came back with a 11-2 run to close out the game. Holland hit a 3 and had a putback and Diener hit a jumper with 1:25 left to give DePaul a 53-48 lead. Holland and Diener combined for all 11 DePaul points down the stretch.

DePaul (6-4)scored just two points during a 7:09 span in the second half. Brandon Griffin gave Southeast Missouri State (6-5) an 48-46 lead with a basket with 6:09 left.

Griffin led Southeast Missouri State with 15 points.

DePaul opened the game with an 11-2 lead. Diener had two 3-pointers during the span and was 3-for-4 in the half with nine points. Southeast Missouri State came back to tie the game at 28 on Dainmon Gonner's two free throws with 1:04 left in the half. Derek Winans led Southeast Missouri State with eight points at the half.

DePaul was without their leading rebounder Andre Brown, who was out with a sore right knee.
