Southeast Basketball Win Streak At Four

Martin, Tenn. - The Southeast Missouri State men's basketball team has now won four straight games after beating Tennessee-Martin 75-68 on Thursday night. The win gives the Redhawks a record of 10-10 overall and 5-4 in the OVC.

Southeast led 37-28 at the half and led by as many as 15 points in the second half. The Skyhawks made a late run, but Terrick Willoughby and Mike Nelke combined to make 6-6 free throws in the final minute the seal the victory.

Dainmon Gonner, the leading scorer in the OVC, led Southeast with 27 points. Willoghbt added 17 points, Reggie Golson 15 and Derek Winans 11. Golson, the rebounder in the OVC, led the Redhawks in reboundign with 10.

The Redhawks will take their four-game win streak to Murray State on Saturday, 7:15 p.m. Murray State is tied for the lead in the OVC with a conference mark of 7-2.
