THE TEAMS: Southeast Missouri State was 11-20 overall and 9-11 in the in the Ohio Valley Conference last season. Lincoln was 7-19 last season. Formerly in the MIAA with Southeast, the Blue Tigers now play in the Heartland Conference. Missouri-Rolla was 7-20 last season. Formerly in the MIAA with Southeast, UMR now plays in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

THE COACHES: Southeast Missouri is under the direction of second year head coach Scott Edgar who has also served as head coach at Duquesne and Murray State. His collegiate record is 119-115 in eight years as a head coach. Charles Terry is 25-79 after five seasons at Lincoln. Dale Martin is 230-304 after 21 seasons as head coach at Missouri-Rolla.

**REDHAWKS NOTES**

MAXWELL HAS SURGERY: Sophomore Jajuan Maxwell had minor knee surgery on Oct. 22. It was Maxwell's second surgery since last season and increases the possibility that he will be redshirted this season.

SHIN SPLINTS SLOW HARRIS: Junior college transfer point guard Hank Harris is bothered by shin splints and is questionable for Thursday's game with Lincoln. If Harris is unable to play, Marcus Rhodes will be the backup at the point.

REDHAWKS ADD ST. LOUIS RADIO STATION: The Southeast Basketball Network includes 1380 ESPN Radio in St. Louis. The network operated by Mississippi River Radio, will be anchored by 100,000 watt K-103 FM in Cape Girardeau. Other network stations include KSIM, Sikeston;, KWOC, Poplar Bluff and KMAL, Malden. Erik Sean will be the play-by-play voice of Redhawks basketball with Todd Bonacki adding commentary at home games and Ron Hines adding color during the road games.

REDHAWKS BASKETBALL WITH Scott Edgar: Edgar will have a weekly television show on WQWQ-TV, the Heartland's CW. The show will be seen at 11 p.m. each Monday night beginning on Nov. 26 and will be hosted by Heartland Sports Director Todd Richards. The show will also be shown on Charter Cable, Channel 11 and on The Storm Team 24-hour Weather Channel at times yet to be determined.

LIVE VIDEO STREAMING: Southeast fans will be able to watch Redhawks OVC basketball games on the internet through the Ohio Valley Conference's new premium web site, OVCSports.TV. OVCSports.TV can be accessed by logging on to the OVC Web site, www.ovcsports.com, and is made possible through a partnership with XOS Technologies,, a leading provider of sports technology. Subscriptions are available on an annual, seasonal and per-event basis.

SID STREAK: Southeast Sports Information Director Ron Hines has worked 787 consecutive men's basketball games. He has not missed a game since 1980.

NEXT FOR THE REDHAWKS: Following the exhibition games, Southeast will open the regular season on Nov. 10 at nationally ranked Xavier in Cincinnati.
