Men's Basketball to Open Exhibition Play Against Harris-Stowe Thursday

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri State University will open exhibition play against Harris-Stowe Thursday night at the Show Me Center. Tip off is set for 7 p.m., CT.

Harris-Stowe, a NAIA institution in St. Louis, visits Cape Girardeau with a 1-1 record after beating Blue Mountain (101-95) and losing to Freed-Hardeman (103-73). Southeast marks the first NCAA Division I opponent the Hornets face this year.

The 2009-10 Redhawks, which feature four returnees and 11 newcomers, take the court for the first time under head coach Dickey Nutt.

Southeast will also host Ouachita Baptist (Nov. 10) in exhibition action before tipping off its season at Saint Louis on Nov. 14.
