Southeast Basketball Hosts IPFW

Nov. 20, 2005

Cape Girardeau, Mo. - After a last second win over Truman State in the season opener, Southeast Missouri State goes for a second straight win when hosting IPFW on Monday, 7:30 p.m., at the Show Me Center.

IPFW is 0-1 after dropping a 69-61 decision to Loyola of Chicago on Saturday night. The Mastadons were led by freshman guard Kyle Savely with 17 points.

Roy Booker hit a 3-pointer from the top of the key with just two-seconds remaining to give the Redhawks a 59-56 win over Truman State. Booker led Southeast in scoring with 17 points.

Southeast and IPFW have met only once with the Redhawks claiming a last second win two years ago in Fort Wayne.
