2002: Made a smooth transition to center, starting all 12 games ... developed into one of the top centers in the OVC ... graded out above 90% on both run and pass blocking ... allowed no sacks ... averaged 12 knock downs per game ... named second team All-OVC.

2001: Started all 11 games at offensive guard ... named second team All-OVC.

2000: Became a starter midway in the season at offensive guard.

Prep: All-conference performer as an offensive and defensive lineman at Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, Calif.

Personal: Born 8-1-82 ... son of Eugene and Aida Amano ... also played basketball and track and field in high school ... majored in Criminal Justice.
