Doug Brady is in his second year as the graduate assistant coach at Southeast Missouri State. His primary duties include serving as the quarterbacks coach and assisting the offensive staff in coaching and implementing the offensive gameplan.

Brady came to Southeast after spending one season at Southwestern Community College in his native San Diego. He was promoted to offensive coordinator following the 2007 season after serving as the quarterbacks coach.

In the fall of 2006 Brady was the Quarterbacks Coach at Poway High in San Diego's North County. Under Brady, Poway's quarterback, Donnie McKillop, led the North County in passing with over 3,000 yards passing and 24 touchdowns. Poway was the San Diego CIF Division 1 runner-up.

Brady played quarterback for current Southeast Head Coach Tony Samuel at New Mexico State in 2002 after transferring from San Diego Mesa College. While at Mesa, he was awarded with three Foothill Conference "Player of the Week" awards and one Pacific Coast Conference "Player of the Week" honor. He finished his career playing at Menlo College in Atherton, Calif.

In Coach Brady's final year as an undergraduate student he worked for Stanford's football program in Palo Alto, Calif. He works at the annual Elite Quarterback Academy on the campus of the University of Nebraska and has worked camps at Stanford, USC and San Diego State. He also ran a quarterbacks academy in San Diego and served as a substitute teacher in several San Diego school districts.

Brady graduated from Poway High School in 1999, where he led his team to a Palomar League title. He was also honored as an All-Palomar League selection.

Brady received his degree in Sports Management from Menlo College in 2006. He is a member of the Football Coaches Professional Growth Association (FCPGA) and American Football Coaches Association (AFCA).
