Walk-on at Southeast...Played tight end and defensive end at Oakville High School...Earned Second-Team Class 6 All-State honors his senior year...Scored the only touchdown on a 5-yard reception with 26 seconds left in Oakville's quarterfinal loss to Hazelwood Central...Caught 19 passes for 253 yards and four touchdowns as a junior...Recorded 27 tackles and one sack on defense.
