2009: Southeast Scholar-Athlete...Started all 11 games...Completed 141-of-284 passes for 1,596 yards and 11 touchdowns...Averaged 145.1 passing yards per game...Was the team's second-leading rusher who ran for 605 yards and four touchdowns on 129 carries...Averaged 3.8 yards per rush...Piled up 2,083 yards of total offense, fourth-best in the OVC... Also ran for 73 yards on 17 carries and had a career-long 21-yard run in that game...Threw for 108 yards (10-of-21) and a touchdown and achieved career-highs in rushing yards (90) and attempts (23) vs. UT Martin (11/15)...Scored first career rushing touchdown when he dove into the corner of the end zone on a 3rd-and-goal in overtime vs. Tennessee State (10/25)...That touchdown was the decisive score...Made first career start under center at Murray State (11/8)...Made his Southeast Missouri State debut at then-No. 6 Missouri (9/6), completing 5-of-13 passes for 46 yards...Threw a career-long 49-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Walter Peoples at Jacksonville State (10/4)...It marked the first touchdown pass of his career...Threw for 54 yards (6-of-16) and gained 40 yards on six carries at Eastern Illinois (10/18)...Southeast Scholar-Athlete.
