COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Travis Rodgers rushed for 91 yards and two touchdowns Saturday to help Tennessee Tech beat Southeast Missouri 31-6.

Tennessee Tech (4-1,3-0 Ohio Valley Conference)recovered a fumble at the Southeast Missouri (2-4,0-3) 6-yard line and Ronnie Sidler ran the ball in from the 1-yard line to put the Golden Eagles up 7-0.

Jason Witczak got the Indians in the game minutes later with a 44-yard field goal. But Rodgers scored on a 1-yard run in the second quarter to secure Tennessee Tech's lead.

The Indians did manage another field goal in the fourth quarter on Witczak's 33-yarder. But the Golden Eagles scored two more touchdowns in the quarter, one of those being a 40-yard interception return by Desmond Irvin.

Tennessee Tech's defense has now gone 12 quarters without allowing a touchdown.
