Southeast Missouri Football Takes Care of Business at UT-Martin

MARTIN, Tenn. (AP) - Andrew Goodenough threw for 180 yards and a touchdown to lead Southeast Missouri to a 20-7 victory over Tennessee-Martin on Saturday.

Goodenough, starting his first game for Southeast Missouri (3-6, 3-2 Ohio Valley Conference), threw a 9-yard TD pass to Chris Nesmith to open scoring in the first quarter.

Tennessee-Martin (2-8, 1-5), didn't score until the fourth quarter when Brady Wahlberg threw a 58-yard TD pass to Taure Stephens, who finished with seven receptions for 125 yards.

Southeast Missouri had built a 17-0 lead, capped by Jamel Oliver's 2-yard touchdown run with 4:19 left in the third quarter.

Goodenough completed 19 of 29 passes, while Wahlberg finished 21-of-41 for 241 yards.

Tennessee-Martin has just one win in its last 48 conference games.
