Football Falls To Southwest Missouri State, 24-7 QB Rashad West throws for 185 yards in loss.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (AP) - Jason Ringena rushed for 222 yards and three touchdowns as Southwest Missouri State beat Southeast Missouri 24-7 on Saturday. Ringena scored on runs of 13 and 6 yards as Southwest Missouri (5-5) took a 14-0 lead. Southeast Missouri (3-7) closed to 14-7 at halftime on a 1-yard run by Rashad West, but the Bears added a 3-yard scoring run by Ringena and a 32-yard field goal by Brian Long. West was 23-of-47 for 185 yards passing for the Indians, and Chris Cooper had 11 catches for 57 yards. Austin Moherman was 7-of-22 for 153 yards for the Bears, and Jeff Hewitt had five catches for 118 yards. |
