Clarksville, Tenn. - Senior Timmy Holloman scored the winning touchdown with only 14-seconds remaining to give Southeast Missouri State a 33-30 win over Austin Peay in the season finale for both teams.

Trailing 30-20 with 6:32 remaining, Southeast scored two touchdowns in the final 5:34 of the game. A 17-yard pass from Matt Scheible to Chante Ahamefule pulled the Redhawks within four points at 30-26 but Doug Spada missed his first extra point of the season and the Governors took over leading 30-26. The Southeast defense that limited Austin Peay to only 234 yards in total offense forced a Governor's punt and the Redhawks took over at their own 40 yard line with 4;11 remaing.

Scheible who completed 12-24 passes for 195 yards and three touchdowns led the Redhawks downfield in a 13 play drive of 60 yards that ended with Holloman's touchown on a fourth and one play from inside the one-yard line. The big play was a 34-yard pass to Ahamefule that got the ball down to the one.

Austin Peay, 2-9 and 2-6 in the OVC, had built a 20-10 halftime lead by blocking three Southeast punts. One of the blocked punts was returned seven yards for a touchdown for |Kevin Buckley while the other two set up Peay scores.

Southeast, 4-8 and 2-6 in the OVC, got two touchdowns from wide receiver Walter Peoples who scored on a 44-yard pass from Scheible in the first quarter and also had a 25-yard TD catch in the third quarter.

Redhawks linebacker Nick Stauffer had five tackles to establish a new Southeast single season record for tackles with 150, second best nationally.
