Southeast Football Will Benefit From Reverse Raffle The first annual Indian Insider Reverse Raffle, to be held on Saturday, August 24, at the AC Brase Arena Building, will benefit the Southeast Missouri State University football program.
Aug. 1, 2002 CAPE GIRARDEAU - The first annual Indian Insider Reverse Raffle, to be held on Saturday, August 24, at the AC Brase Arena Building, will benefit the Southeast Missouri State University football program. The event will begin at 7:30 p.m. with an open bar, Hors D'oeuvres and a dance band, Infinity, from Nashville, Tenn. "We feel that this will be a great opportunity to get excited about the upcoming football season and will provide us some much needed financial help," said Southeast football coach Tim Billings. "We have some great prizes including the grand prize of $3,500 in cash and it should be a fun filled evening." Tickets, limited to 295, are $100 per person or $150 per couple. There are still tickets available and corporate sponsorships are available. A corporate sponsorship is $1,000 and includes five tickets to the Reverse Raffle and advertising. Door prizes will be given out throughout the evening and will include golf packages from Cape Country Club, spa packages from Elan Day Spa, a $100 gift certificate from Mollie's, a $250 Holland Grill from Southeast Fabricating and Clark Appliance, $100 from Union Planters Bank, filets from Fruitland Meat and Southeast football season tickets. There will also be cash prizes of $500, $1,000 and $3,500. Valet parking and designated drivers will be provided by the Sig Eps.
