BALTIMORE, Md. - Former Southeast football All-American Edgar Jones plays on national television Sunday night as his Baltimore Ravens host the New York Giants at 7 p.m. on NBC.

Jones, who led the nation in I-AA with 12 quarterback sacks last season, made three solo tackles as an outside linebacker in his first preseason game on August 4 versus the Philadelphia Eagles. He was named a first team Associated Press All-American following the 2006 campaign. During his four-year Southeast career, he made 109 tackles, including 73 solo stops and 16 sacks. He made 24 tackles for losses of 126 yards. Jones signed with the Ravens as a free agent on May 4.

Four other former Southeast players remain on NFL rosters. Kyle Hunt, Jones' counterpart at defensive end the last two seasons, is playing tight end for the Philadelphia Eagles. Eugene Amano is in his fourth year as a center with the Tennessee Titans, Dan Connolly is in his third season as a center for the Jacksonville Jaguars and Dimitri Patterson is battling for a roster spot as a cornerback with the Kansas City Chiefs.
